Congratulations to all involved in the CAPRISA 004 and iPrEx trials - tenofovir gel and iPrEx's study of Truvada received high honors from Science Magazine, both listed as runners up for Breakthrough of the Year. According to Science: "Neither approach is a magic bullet, AIDS researchers say. But in combination with other measures, they could usher in a new era of HIV prevention."
