| Investigators interested in submitting a proposals should follow the Guidelines for Submitting Applications for CONRAD/USAID Funding. Applicants are encouraged to send a preliminary proposal to CONRAD to determine its programmatic and technical appropriateness before a full proposal is prepared. The staff works with researchers to develop an optimal proposal, suggesting improvements and alternative approaches, if needed.
The CONRAD technical staff typically reviews preliminary proposals and pilot study proposals. Full proposals are reviewed by the TAC in June of each year. Specific working groups and/or ad hoc panels also review research proposals as needed.
